Education for British students is now under threat. The number of students applying to university has shot up 11.6% from last year. This competition has become a serious obstacle to many young people seeking university in the next few weeks, leaving many disillusioned and downhearted.
The government provided funding for an extra 10,000 students last year because they realise how important graduates are to the nation's economy. However, the government has been unable to sustain this extra funding given the strains of the current economic climate.
But, for one institution the answer is quite simple. Newbold College, based in Binfield, Bracknell, continues its 110-year commitment to offer opportunities for those in pursuit of quality higher education. From a newly introduced Media Arts degree, to stalwart favourites like English, Business Studies, and Theology, the College encourages those in pursuit of an undergraduate degree to investigate its course offerings.
